The following images were captured from Ms. Wendy Thurm’s Twitter feed at approximately 12:30am ET, early Friday morning, and clearly document her descent into madness.*
*Note: Ms. Thurm has denied these allegations, suggesting that the following was a result merely of placing her cellular telephone in an airport security tray. To which explanation the unwashed masses respond, “Pssh! Hah! Pfft! Shwa! Therp!”

Carson Cistulli has published a book of aphorisms called Spirited Ejaculations of a New Enthusiast.
Hmm…if what she says is true, why does the word “deuce” inconspicuously appear in her diatribe of insanity, hmmm?
“Why the deuce?” you might even say — if you were PG Wodehouse, I mean. And this were 1931.
If you are going to use a Wodehouse reference at least get the time period right.
I fail to understand you. Wodehouse flourished from the aughts up till his death in the 1970s. He’d written both Psmith and Mulliner stories by 1931.
Am I missing something?
His stories mostly take place in the 1900-1915 time period. So the language his characters use reflects that time period not necessarily the period in which they were written.
But Carson said if you were Wodehouse. So Wodehouse in 1931 used language from 1900-1915.
