This may not work. That’s fine, y’all know I’m lucky if I bat at the mendoza line here. But I’ve got no snark, no jokes, no memes today. All I have for you is something I’ve never seen before in baseball. And you may not be able to see it, even though I made this GIF so that you might:

Did you see it? Look closely at Marquis’ head. He’s shaking the catcher off as he’s throwing the pitch. I didn’t notice it the first time. The broadcast team didn’t even notice it. But Bob @McVanderHuge did. So he gets a slow clap. Cause that’s just strange.

He does it right as his left foot hits the ground. Unfortunately, the size of the GIF makes it very difficult to notice.
