I’m pretty sure that 50 years from now people will still be saying “…and Nick Punto” the way people today say “Brock for Broglio.”
50 years from now, in retirement homes across the nation, uttering the words, “…and Nick Punto!” will gain new residents immediate credibility and access to the inner circle of baseball discussions. Also, at those same retirement homes, uttering the words, “…and it upset my bowels!” will go mostly unnoticed because everyone says that.
