I can’t take this anymore. As a staunch fan of a Mets divisional rival, I can nevertheless say I am almost too heartbroken to continue following the cruel game of baseball.

Somebody kidnap Jose Fernandez and lock him in your basement so we don’t have to go through this trauma again next year
