Heard This: “Put Me in the Game,” By G-Side

I have an affinity for baseball-related hip-hop music, and the above — “Put Me in the Game” — comes to us from Athens, Alabama’s G-Side, as featured in 2K Sports’ MLB 2K12, which I recently bought in order to electronically change the fate of my beloved Blue Jays.

If you like the track, you can download it here. I checked; it isn’t available on iTunes.

The Vaccines “If You Wanna” Is a superior song to “Put Me in the Game” from the MLB2k12 soundtrack, even though it isn’t hip hop.

Actually that whole Vaccines album is pretty awesome.

Also MLB2k12 blows, but I can’t stop playing it.

i bought mlb2k12 at the recommendation of rotographs a few months ago. it’s not OOTP in the sense that you look up and, oh is that the sun coming up? nor is it the graphics delight the show (allegedly) is…but having said all that…it’s exceeded my expectations. the myplayer mode is super fun and is perfect as a quick diversion.

You can download some mods that update the stadiums and uniforms to be more realistic at MVPmods. Also the ENB Series works with the game to enhance the graphics and add things such as bloom.
